The Albergo Centrale is in a truly privileged location in Bologna: in the historic center, it is one of the few hotels in Bologna to be near Piazza Maggiore, the historic and artistic heart of the city; Piazza del Nettuno which borrowed its name from the magnificent fountain and the famous two towers, the Asinelli tower and the Garisenda tower.
Thanks to its position, the Albergo Centrale is one of the 2-star hotels in downtown Bologna providing the best way to experience the city, its porticos, the artistic and cultural vivacity and food and wine traditions of the trattorias and wine bars.
Bologna the learned one, Bologna the red one, Bologna the fat one, the city's nicknames referring to the oldest university in the world, the red palazzos and roofs and the rich cuisine. Bologna is right there, just outside the Albergo Centrale, a lively city, waiting to be discovered on foot. For those who prefer public transportation, the buses that reach every corner of Bologna stop just 50 meters from the hotel, but it's better to stroll under the famous Porticos, 40 kilometers throughout the city under vaults built between 1200 and 1900.
Trattorias, restaurants, clubs and discos for your evening pleasure and shops and boutiques to satisfy your shopping frenzy abound around the Albergo Centrale.
